2024 Trash Disposal
GUIDELINES FOR TRANSITION TO NEW HAULER
Purpose: “….OnePlanet Sanitation sold their business to EarthFirst Waste; effective mid-September, 2024. This is written to provide guidelines for that conversion. The new company (EarthFirst) will only provide a garbage cart and will pickup garbage and yard waste. Recycling will still no longer be provided.”

!!!PICKUP DAY: WEDNESDAYS!!!
* per SSPOA Restrictions: no carts or other nuisance objects are to be left at the curb except on trash day
Main Aspects of New Service:
* Pickup of Bulk Items (you must call the 888-433-9765 Office to alert them & arrange payment):
- Bulk Item (s) pickup MUST be coordinated & paid by calling the EarthFirst office
- there is a $12-$60/item for each item that month
- Bulk Items are ONLY picked up on the first Friday of every month: this day could change
and should be verified upon your coordination-call to the EarthFirst office (888-433-9765)
- Owners are responsible for pre-notification and pre-payment!
* Pickup of Appliances: see list of Costs (you must call the 888-433-9765 Office) (reverse page)
HOLIDAYS
* Holidays observed are: New Year’s Day; Memorial Day; July 4th; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day;
Christmas Day.
- Pickup will be delayed by one day if these holidays fall on Monday - Wednesday!
* Yard Waste Service:
only available March 1st through November 30th
- on Wednesdays.
- bio-degradable bags or bundles of branches.
- Limbs & Branches must be under 3” in diameter;
- Limbs & Branches must be bundled with twine: no longer than 4’ long or 24” in diameter
* Garbage will not include: hazardous or toxic waste as defined by local, state, and/or federal laws or regulations; yard waste/leaves; paving items; animal carcasses; and/or any other item(s) not allowed at the Harrisonville Transfer Station.
* NOTICE: UnPaid dues over two quarters could result in your Pickup Service being stopped!
- This could take a several weeks to get re-activated!
- Do Not allow neighbors to set their garbage out as your garbage, please!
